After using it for close to 10mins just the nozzle opening was warm. No other part was warm/hot indicating good heat dissipation. The concentrator attachment fits securely and will not fall off.

This can generate very hot air and at full heat setting this is good for drying/dehumidifying other items, but might damage your hair :) I don't see much use for the "cool shot" button. It's same as the minimum heat setting (not really "cool"). I don't use it much for drying hair, so can't comment more on that.
