Padosan is a light-hearted romantic comedy movie and a must watch that should be added to your list. The story revolves around Bhola (Sunil Dutt) and his lady love Bindu (Saira Banu).
Till date, it is considered as one of the best bollywood movie made. People still groove to the beat of the song Meri Pyaari Bindu.
And who can forget the role of the Tamilian played by Mahmood!

4. Bombay to Goa (1972)

Bombay to Goa was a remake of the Tamil movie Madras to Pondicherry. The excellent music and funny scenes will make you stick to your sit throughout the movie.
Amma Pakoda, the funny Tamil boy’s act is considered to be the over-the-top comedy scenes of all times.

5. Chupke Chupke (1975)

After watching this movie directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee you will have a different kind of respect for Dharmendra.

Chhoti Si Baat is a romantic comedy that bought Amol Palekar in the lime light.
The plot is about a young shy person who tries to impress his love with his simple methods but goes unattended. He seeks the help of a retired general who has his own techniques and understands the psychology of girls.

7. Gol Maal (1979)

Gol Maal is about Bhavani Shankar (Utpal Dutt), the man of traditional values and Ram Prasad (Amol Palekar) who is in desperate need of a well paying job. He therefore visits Bhavani’s office with all the qualifying requirements.
Moustache-less persons are a big no-no to Bhavani Shankar, the story revolves around the confusion that happens when he (Bhavani Shankar) sees him (Amol Palekar) moustache-less in a hockey match.

8. Chashme Buddoor (1981)

Chashme Buddoor is another romantic comedy by Farooq Shaikh.
The half before the interval is about Siddharth (Farooq Shaikh) who is extremely studious and falls in love with Neha (Deepti Naval), whereas his friends Omi (Rakesh Bedi) and Jomo (Ravi Baswani) are just interested in chasing girls.
The second part is the attempt to stage a fake kidnap of Neha but later turns out to be a real kidnap.

9. Satte Pe Satta (1982)

Satte Pe Satta is the story of seven brothers living in a farm house. The movie is rich in comical scenes, unforgettable music and script.
Who can ever forget the trademark dialogue of the movie, “Dur peene se Liver Kharab hota hai.”

Angoor is based on Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors.

The plot goes this way: Shadiram Gharjode (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) is insulted by Hoshiyar Chand and in return he decides on to teach him lesson. He ropes in Raju (Govinda), a Coolie at the local bus-stop to make-believe him as a rich person to Hoshiyar Chand. Raju marries Malathi (Karishma Kapoor) and takes her to Mumbai. Mama (Shakti Kapoor) accompanies Malathi to Mumbai as an age-old family tradition. It follows the revealing of a con and other twist and turns with a funny climax.

16. Judaai (1997)

Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Kader Khan, and Upasna Singh made the movie worth watching.

Lage Raho Munna Bhai made it to the box office once again. The story is hilarious and so are the acting of Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi.
The plot goes this way, Munna is completely mad with a voice of a radio jockey (Vidya Balan) Jhanvi. It shows his effort to impress her in a contest played on the life of Mahatma Gandhi. The hook is when he learns more about Gandhiji.
Following which he thinks that he is constantly accompanied with Mahatma Gandhi and his non-violent ideas make the central theme of the movie.
The songs are also great and became quite a hit.

25. Dhamaal (2007)

Dhamaal is the remake of the Hollywood comedy “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World”.
It grossed closed to 50 crore rupees and also got good reviews across various media houses.

26. Dhol (2007)

Dhol is about four friends want to become rich and decide to go the easy way by marrying a rich girl.
The fun part is how they try to win the girl. A beautifully written comedy, suspense, and drama.

27. Bheja Fry (2007)

Bheja Fry is a remake of a French movie.
Though the movie was low budgeted it performed brilliantly well at the box office. Rajat Kapoor and Vinay Pathak are on fire in this movie.

28. 3 Idiots (2009)

3 Idiots was the ultimate movie that broke all box office records of that year. Each scene is better than the other.
The famous speech scene of Chatur can never be forgotten. The movie has ever possible element added to it.

29. All the Best (2009)

All the Best is a no-brainer, complete fuss and hilarious type. You need not wear your thinking cap to this movie. It is just plain simple.
All the actors have done complete justice to the script. Sanjay Dutt bagged the IIFA award for the best comic role for the movie.

30. Chennai Express (2013)

Chennai Express is the biggest block buster movie of 2013. It could break almost every record at the box office. The film by Rohit Shetty is definitely a must watch. The performance of the leads Shahrukh Khan and Deepika is commendable.
The beautiful picturisation and the soudtrack of the film are equally good. Nikitin Dheer does complete justice to the role of Tangabali.  Do not miss this movie!
